Claire Taylor
As a graduate of the Centre for Alternative Technology, Claire is excited to be working for Paul Testa Architecture to develop her skills in sustainable design.
Having spent a couple of years working in a large practice, Claire brings an eye for detail and a love of getting stuck into complex briefs. She enjoys working at all stages of the design process and is studying for her Part 3 alongside working in practice.
Claire is interested in designing for and with communities, making places that enhance people’s lives. She’s also interested in using natural light as a medium for design – thinking about how light moves through and around a space and how this affects our understanding of time and place.
Claire has lived in Sheffield since beginning her studies here in 2007. She is a climber, runner and cyclist and loves exploring the network of green spaces connecting the city to the Peak District. Claire says: ‘This is a great city and a great opportunity to work with people on local projects.’
