A site snapshot

It’s about time we shared an update from our projects on site, there’s been lots of development on projects new and old since our last one.

We’re at an exciting juncture for many of our projects as we push ahead towards completion in the next few weeks.

Cortworth Road, Sheffield

We are adding the finishing touches to the interior in order to get the house ready for the clients to move in at the beginning of April. Once the clients have moved in, Terry Huggett and his team will then focus on finish the outside of the property; cedar cladding, fixing rainwater downpipes, and the driveway.

Grove House, Oakham

This has been a longer site journey than expected due to the clients discovering the house needed to be rewired.

Now the extension is nearing completion the angles are much more apparent. Designed to turn the space towards the garden, the multi-angled interior is daylit beautifully with greenery visible in every direction.

The Fairway, Sheffield

It’s full steam ahead in order for the clients to move in for the first week of April.

Julie has done a great job of managing this project. Her favourite bit? “It would have to be the views from the new zinc dormer.”

Catmose Park, Oakham

We have been working on the construction details for a new extension and entrance for this family house in Oakham. External cladding will be added to tie the house together.

In the meantime, the patio has been completed along with landscaping to the rest of the garden [designed by Soo Spector Garden Design] to transform the run-down garden in time for summer.

Footgate Close, Sheffield

Paul’s own build is moving slowly towards completion. The scaffolding is down and the internal walls have been plastered. They’re now pulling together second fix joinery, plumbing and electrics. Whilst Paul and family are moving in soon, they’re expecting a building site as a home for a month or two.

Last House, Nottinghamshire

We’re happy to report work has begun on the Last House. This is a self-build project to build an impressive four-bedroom home [complete with a separate living area for a family member] in a conservation area in Teversal, Nottinghamshire.

After a long planning process, the foundations have now been dug and the basement’s concrete will be poured shortly. The team are in the process of building up the boundary wall. They’re using it as a chance to practice the brick patterns that will be used on the gables of the house.
